MLB Playoffs


In the NLCS, the Los Angeles Dodgers swept the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers making their second straight World Series trip and await the winner of the ALCS between the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays.


In Game 1, the Dodgers barely put away the Brewers. The Brewers entered the ninth inning down 2-0 before scoring a run off of a Jackson Chourio sacrifice fly. Roki Sasiki then walked Christian Yelich. Blake Treinen came in and Yelich stole second base. William Contreras then walked to load the bases. Brice Turang struck out to end the game. 


In Game 2, Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched the complete game masterpiece for the Dodgers. He gave up one run in the first inning before the Dodgers scored five straight runs for the 5-1 win.


Game 3 saw the Dodgers strike first with a run in the first inning. The Brewers tied it up with a run of their own in the second. The Dodgers then scored the last two runs of the game in the sixth inning to win 3-1.


The Dodgers clinched the National League pennant and a trip to the World Series for the second straight season after Shoehi Ohtani’s historic night in Game 4. The two-way star carried his team by becoming the first ever player to strike out ten batters as pitcher and hit three homeruns as a batter in the same game! His efforts earned him series MVP.


The Mariners lead the Blue Jays 3-2 in the ALCS.


In Game 1, the Mariners went down 1-0 early on a George Springer solo homerun in the first inning. But a Cal Raleigh home run and two Jorge Polanco RBI singles gave the Mariners a 3-1 victory.


In Game 2, Julio Rodriguez hit a first inning three-run homer to give the Mariners a 3-0 lead. That lead quickly evaporated as the Jays tied the game up in the second. Seattle scored seven more runs the rest of the way that to win 10-3.


Game 3 saw Julio Rodriguez hit another first inning homerun to make it 2-0 in favor of the Mariners. The Blue Jays then outscored the Mariners 13-2 the rest of the game and got a 13-4 victory.


Seattle again took an early lead in Game 4. Josh Naylor hit a solo shot in the second inning to make it 1-0. The Blue Jays then outscored the M’s 7-1 the rest of the way en-route to a 8-2 win. 


In Game 5, Seattle got another solo shot to take a 1-0 lead– this one by Eugenio Suarez in the second inning. The Blue Jays then scored runs in the fifth and sixth to make it 2-1. Cal Raleigh hit a solo shot in the eigth to tie it. Then Eugenio Suarez came to the plate with the bases loaded and knocked a grand slam homerun to make it 6-2 and give Seattle the win. The Mariners are now one win away from their first ever World Series appearance.


NFL Week 6


  • The New York Giants stunned the Philadelphia Eagles on TNF winning 34-17.

    • Cam Skattebo had 3 TD’s in the New York win

    • Jaxson Dart added a TD through the air and one on the ground

  • The Denver Broncos beat the New York Jets 13-11 in London.

    • The Denver defense had 9 sacks

    • The Jets remain winless and sit at 0-6

  • Jonathan Taylor and Daniel Jones led the Indianpolis Colts past the Arizona Cardinals 31-27.

  • The Los Angeles Chargers beat the Miami Dolphins 29-27.

    • Darren Waller scored a TD to make it 27-26 Miami with 46 seconds left

    • Justin Herbert rallied the Chargers and Cameron Dicker kicked the game-winning field goal

  • The New England Patriots beat the New Orleans Saints 25-19.

    • Drake Maye threw for 3 TD’s

    • The Patriots got their third consecutive win

  • Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 23-9.

  • The Carolina Panthers beat the Dallas Cowboys 30-27.

    • Running back Rico Dowdle had 239 yards from scrimmage and a TD reception versus his former team

  • The Seattle Seahawks beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-12.

    • Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with 696 receiving yards

  • The Los Angeles Rams beat the Baltimore Ravens 17-3.

    • Lamar Jackson remained sidelined with an injury

    • Baltimore is 1-5

  • The Las Vegas Raiders beat the Tennessee Titans 20-10.

    • Ashton Jeanty had 75 rush yards and a rush TD

  • The Green Bay Packers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 27-18.

    • Joe Flacco made his first start as the Cincinnati QB

  • Baker Mayfield led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 30-19 win versus the San Francisco 49ers.

    • The Tampa Bay crowd was heard chanting M-V-P after Baker Mayfield made a big play in the fourth quarter

    • San Francisco’s superstar All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner suffered a season-ending injury

  • The Kansas City Chiefs won 30-17 vs the Detroit Lions.

    • Brian Branch was suspended for one game after starting a fistfight at the end of this game

  • The Atlanta Falcons beat the Buffalo Bills 24-14.

    • The Falcons won behind Bijan Robinson’s 170 rush yards and 81-yard TD run

    • The Bills dropped to 4-2 and are second in the AFC East, as the Patriots hold the tiebreaker over them

  • The Chicago Bears beat the Washington Commanders 25-24.

  • The Minnsota Vikings and Houston Texans were on a bye.
