Today’s Games (Saturday November 22, 2025):
Fresh off of a win in Tuscaloosa, the Oklahoma Sooners now host Missouri as they try to solidify a playoff spot during the last few weeks of the season. The Missouri Tigers make their return to the Top 25 thanks to many lower teams losing. The Tigers are led by the FBS’s leading rusher, Ahmad Hardy. Hardy has rushed for 1,346 yards this season. Oklahoma has the fourth ranked run defense in the country and they will have their hands full today.
The Cole Times Prediction: Oklahoma 34 over Missouri 23
Next, comes an old school Pac 12 matchup with playoff stakes on the line. That’s what we have today between two ranked Big Ten squads– the USC Trojans and Oregon Ducks. Oregon is looking to get their first statement win of the season. The Ducks have no wins versus teams currently ranked. Oregon’s only ranked wins are versus Penn State and Iowa. The Ducks needed overtime to dispatch then Top 5 Penn State. Coming off the Penn State win, they suffered their only setback this season, a 30-20 loss at the hands of Indiana. Their other ranked win is a 18-16 victory over Iowa.
USC has two ranked wins this season, as well as two ranked losses. They lost to Illinois 34-32, then beat Michigan 31-13 one week later. A week after that, they lost to rival Notre Dame, 34-24. Last week, they beat a ranked Iowa team, 21-16, to knock the Hawkeyes out of the rankings. USC is led by a very strong offense that hopes to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. Oregon is a very strong team, but tends to play down to the level of their opponent. That may not fare well against the ranked Trojans.
Prediction: USC 27, Oregon 25

Spotlight: #1 Arizona Wildcats
In the preseason, Arizona was ranked 15th in the CT Men’s Basketball rankings. How did they go from projected Sweet 16 elimination to the current top team in the land? They started their season by beating then Top 5 Florida. The Florida Gators are the defending National Champions. The players on Florida might not be the same, but they have a serious case to repeat. After a pair of cupcake games, Arizona was right back to the gauntlet. They faced ranked UCLA, a strong team and a college basketball blue blood. They took down the Bruins by a score of 69-65. They then face Dan Hurley and UConn, who also have title aspirations. Arizona dominated in the paint and won 71-67. The Wildcats have Denver and Norfolk State up next. But after those weaker opponents, they face Auburn and Alabama seven days apart. They do host both teams from Alabama, but they will be tested. They also play in the Big 12, where they have to meet BYU twice, Kansas twice, Iowa State once, Texas Tech once, and Houston once. The first BYU matchup is in late January. They start a tough four-game stretch in Kansas, then host Texas Tech and BYU. Those games are followed up by a meeting with the Houston Cougars in the Lone Star State. A trip to Baylor is sandwiched between that stretch and back-to-back home matches versus Kansas and Iowa State.

They followed that up by beating ranked NC State, 69-68. But they came off that win an got crushed by coach Dawn Staley and #2 South Carolina, 69-52. They then lost to Notre Dame 61-59 after Hannah Hidalgo hit a jumper with 1.9 seconds left in the game to give the Fighting Irish the victory. After three games versus unranked opponents, the Trojans will face Washington and UConn. Then they take on rival UCLA on 1/3/2026 and 3/1/2026. They also have Maryland during that slate of games.
