Cleveland Win Streak at 16
The Cleveland Cavaliers last night got their 16th straight win after they beat the Memphis Grizzlies 133-124. This win streak is the new franchise record. Cleveland’s most recent loss was on Feb. 4– a 112-105 loss vs. Boston. To begin the season, the Cavs had a 15 game win streak to start 15-0. Their record in between the 15 game and 16 game win streaks was 25-10. That stretch also had a 12 game win streak.

The NHL playoff race is heating up. In the Eastern Conference, Ottawa is firmly in Wild Card spot one. The Senators are five points ahead of Columbus, who holds spot two. Columbus is tied with the New York Rangers at 70 points. Montreal is at 69 points. Detroit and Boston are at 68 points. The New York Islanders are at 66 points. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are tied at 64 points. Buffalo is at 56 points. The Flyers and Penguins are six points behind Columbus and New York. Philly and Pittsburgh also sit 11 points behind Ottawa.
