USF got a big win that helps their chances at a playoff berth.

BSU was a top-25 team who lost, it was a concerning loss and they need to be watched.

Tarelton State 30, Army 27 2/OT

Tarelton State upset the defending AAC champions. The win definitely catapults them in the FCS rankings.

Army suffered a terrible defeat and needs to rebound big time.

Ohio State 14, Texas 7

The defending national champions started their season off right with a win vs top ranked Texas.

Arch Manning looked terrible the Longhorns need to get up to speed before conference play starts.

LSU 17, Clemson 10

LSU looked great in their win vs a tough Clemson team.

Clemson needs to improve if they want to stay in the title conversation.

Florida State 31, Alabama 17

FSU played great and upset Alabama it seems like the Seminoles are back.

Bama got upset badly and needs to play better if they want to avoid missing the playoffs for the 2nd straight season.

Miami (FL) 27, Notre Dame 24

Miami got a great win vs a top tier opponent bumping their playoff resume up a level.

Notre Dame’s defeat is worse then others for one reason. They don’t play in a conference, with Texas A&M, USC, Navy, and Pitt still on the schedule they need to play better ball, to earn a playoff spot.
