The Atlanta Braves who have 39-48 record are ranked 17th, why? The Braves have played similar to a 44 win team however, they have just gotten unlucky.

Club World Cup

The Club World Cup is coming to an end with upsets and routs throughout the tournament. What has happened so far? 

In the round of 16: 

• Fluminense FC upset Inter Milan 2-0 despite Inter Milan being the runner-up in the Champions League

• Al Hilal upset english giant Manchester City 4-3. Manchester City was a popular pick to win the entire tournament

• Palmeiras beat Botafogo 1-0 in the first round of the knockout stage

• Chelsea cruised to a 4-1 victory over SL Benfica

• Paris Saint-Germain crushed Inter Miami 4-0 advancing to play german side FC Bayern Munchen

• Bayern got help from a own goal to beat CR Flamengo 4-2

• Real Madrid and Borrusia Dortmund set up a matchup after beating Juventus and Monterrey 1-0 and 2-0

In the quarter finals, Fluminense’s cinderella story continued after beating Al Hilal 2-1. Chelsea now stands in front of Fluminense The Blues beat Palmeiras 2-1.

Knicks Coach

The New York Knicks have finally found a coach. After interviewing Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins, New Orleans Pelicans associate coach James Borrego, Minnesota Timberwolves assistant Micha Nori, and Mike Brown, Mike Brown a 2-time NBA Coach of the Year will be hired by the Knickerbockers. Brown has coached for the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Sacramento Kings. 

TE Change In Miami

The Miami Dolphis TE is Darren Waller. Wait but wasn’t Waller retired? Yes, Waller was retired but, he came out of retirement saying saying that he “missed football.” The Dolphins last season had Jonnu Smith at TE. What happened to Smith? Jonnu Smith and three-time all pro CB Jalen Ramsey were sent to Pittsburgh for Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, in a blockbuster trade.
