The Detroit Tigers hold a steady 2.5 game advantage over the New York Yankees. The New York Mets are crushing their opposition and have a 4.5 game lead over the Philadelphia Phillies. The Mets and Phillies are running away in the NL East. The 3rd place Braves are 9.5 games behind Philadelphia. The Chicago Cubs are racing away from their division opposition, as they hold a 4.5 point lead over the Milwaukee Brewers.
